I have started going back to trot changes because I do know she doesn't understand,,,and even on her own her changes are not always full, she has always been about 50/50 whereas my other 4 yr old has had clean changes since birth! with and without a rider
she has no tack or soundness issues, but I'm assuming more muscle behind would not hurt so I will also implement some hill work into her routine to see if it helps,,,and we are working on more flexibility on the flat,,,,
