problem was caused by poor asking, most horses want to change for you if they understand the question.
I see people in warm up rings pulling horse into a small and smaller circle hoping horse will swap hind end and all the does in many cases is get the horse frantic and in some case horses rushing or running into changes. I personally do not agree with the circle method. I realize it works for some but young or green horses do not need small circles for a obvious disengagement or poor rider error
