she had a fungus in the cleft of her frog that I could not get rid of to save my life. She also was very tender on the rocks and had a tendancy to go flat with her soles and grow false sole and her bars would over grow.
Since she was in a dry paddock on grass hay only her feet have really changed.
I'm still doing the "LIM" trim but now the fungus has cleared, her soles are shedding and we are getting real concavity and she is going out comfortably now only saying ouch to the occasional sharp rock.
Alfalfa just effects horses differently and I think her not being on it is changing her from the inside out.
When life gets bumpy I ride it out...
