thats alot of work, and as you said, gas is high right now. I would charge 20.00 a day just for 1 horse....
Breakdown- I took in boarders; I charge 150.00 self care, 250.00 if I feed- they still clean, 300.00 if I feed/clean & turn out.... thats for people already comitted and I dont have an arena. But they have stallions & they are difficult to handle.45.00 a day is a bargain. If she doesnt wanna pay it, she can try to find someone else. If she can afford to take off on vacation/to show whatever, she can afford to pay fair wages for care of her horses.
