Sara is on antibiotic/steroid ointment for the same thing. Vet said probably from the heat/smoke/dust. My newest equine has the same thing, and is on the same meds from Loomis. I know my eyes burn like fire the last week too.
So far, none of the other horses have it and my vet said it's irritation related.
