I wouldn't have believed that it would work for the runny eye summer syndrom...my horse has had chronic problems with sensitivity to dust and flies. A fly mask helps, but he still had runny eyes. A few months ago he was getting acupuncture done for something else and I just mentioned the runny eye thing to the vet. She said she could do something about that, needled all around his eyes and voila, his eyes have not been weeping at all, even with the smoke and dust. Sounds crazy, but it totally worked!
