Rascal kid hit my horse with a base ball bat

To those of you who ride in Half Moon Bay. I rode along the trail above the beach just south of Kelly, where there is a camping place just last Friday. I passed a kid, 9-11 yo, studs in both ears, dark hair, with an orange-black, plastic base ball bat. Right after I passed, the kid ran up behind my horse and hit him along the hocks. Fortunately for the kid, I was too busy staying on as my horse lunged forward and wanted to be out of there. Can you believe it? Anyway, I'd thought I'd let you know in case you ride around there. Was upset for a long time after it happened.
