I don't know the brands of two of them but one (might have been a freeform) was an endurance-type model, the second was a really nice looking treeless dressage saddle with panels that kept the saddle off the spine, and the third knows who she is... on a Bob Marshall.
Just saying the slipping problem does seem to be an issue, like it or not, especially with a beginner rider more likely to lose balance. Also I confess I'm just not impressed at all with their ability to disperse weight. Sweat spots look like the rider's butt, that is saying something. Would not use at all with a heavy rider on a small horse.
Just my opinion on a message board, of course.
