GLC5000 is a great product with a lot of research behind it. The other thing to insure is that the diet is balanced and that you are not feeding her things that are pro-inflammatory like too many omega-6 fatty acids from the likes of corn oil. The Platinum works in part because it contains a lot of flax which provides omega-3 fatty acids which are anti-inflammatory. However it may not provide enough of the trace minerals depending on what the overall diet is providing and so other products may be better suited depending on your specific situation. There are also non NSAID products to help mediate pain.
