There's a particularly upsetting video on Youtube of a mare having an attack while her foal tries to figure it out. It's hard to watch.
I've only seen one attack happen right in front of me. Very ugly scene, I thought. The owner and trainer seemed to be ho-hum about it and simply let the horse lay in the spot where it seized for about a half hour afterward before getting it up and putting it away.
There's probably a Yahoo group you could join for management issues. I would never ride a H/N or H/H horse. I sure as heck would never breed one.
