What was most likely an HYPP attack before HYPP was known about. A horse at my barn had just gotten back from a ride and was being cooled down in hand. He suddenly went stiff as a board and fell over like he was made of plastic and lay on the ground, twitching violently. We all thought he'd tied up severely, and that was how the vet treated it when he got there. I had never seen a tie up fall over like that.
But thinking back, I remember the horse, and I believe it was an HYPP attack.
