probably tested NH (negative/positive) to begin with, which would account for the subsequent attack (NH horses can asymptomatic as well as symptomatic - and I would venture the change in environment and diet led to the horse becoming symptomatic).
No, I am not smarter than a 5th grader, but occasionally I am smarter than a 1st grader.
