I work in hardware engineering, and the company seems to always offer some kinds of classes, no matter what dept. you work in. It's really hard to decide what type of class to take, as we don't interface with the public. Our (my) customer is the hardware engineering team. I do PCB layout, and our group provides this service to other design groups throughout the company.
