is not a QH but is an appy ... maybe if the AQHA had taken a tougher stance on this genetic disease like the Arab association did with SID (I think that is what the anacronym is) .... HYPP would have been extinct from the breed in 30 years at the most ...
But then don't get me started on the AQHA and what a dis-service it does to horses all in the name of $$$$
