That is my feeling too. However I have already done so many things, and every time I say this is the last one, if we dont' see anything this time we oviously are not going to find it.
Going to the vets is very hard on Kezi. She is a very nervous horse and has issues trailering.
While yes I would like to do the bone scan, even if I could afford it, can I afford doing the x-rays or ultrasounds then required to find out what is going on after that?
More likely then not the bone scan is going to show us that there is pain somewhere deep inside her shoulder and we still won't know what is really wrong.
For me, if her shoulder is swollen, then thats were the pain is, but shoulder x-rays show nothing.
The only other thing that I can think of to do is an ultrasound of her shoulder to see what the tendons are looking like. But that has never been recomended by any of the vets.
I am just not sure I can continue to do more diagonsing, both finacially and emotionally.
