I bought 12 bales earlier this year. Nice hay, good seed heads, but the chickens and the squirrels get most of the grain that falls out. It was a good price, but I am thinking I'll never do it again. I can't deal with the rodents. I'm looking to buy some timothy hay for this winter instead.
