They are 10 years old, made of heavy-duty cordura. They hold a hefty bale easily. Sadly I don't remember where I bought them - probably from Australian Connection or another endurance gear company.
I didn't get full bale bags because I can't hoist a full bale easily. These bags are also useful if you travel in someone else's trailer or go to a ride without a crew; I can put all my gear (excluding saddle) into one of the bags and send it out to a checkpoint. My name and TEL are painted on the outside.
I also have another half bale bag with wheels. I don't like it because a) it's narrower than the others and is hard to load/unload, and b) the length (1/2-bale) is too short to make easy use of the wheels... I have to walk in a half-squat stance because if I stand upright the bag tips back too far and drags. I think I got that one deeply discounted at the AERC convention. I'm guessing it was unpopular for the above reasons but I was a crazed bargain shopper. This design probably works better in the full-bale size.
