I had never heard of nutgrass. But now that I see a picture, I do have some of that growing in my stream. Most years my horses avoid it, but I noticed last weekend when I was back in the stream that it is all eatten down. I'm surprised that stuff grew enough to be in an alfalfa pasture and baled up. Since I don't have irrigated pastures, I've never had it spread to my pasture areas.
