You could look them up on there too. There is also NorCal Hunter Jumper Association, they keep track of members who show, and I think there is a Pacific Coast H/J organization too.
Might also check the Sac area to see if he did compete at local A rated shows there.
Lots of times, they change their show names. Especially if he was ridden by kids. I can think of countless names the same horses have been shown under because the teens thought that name was cute, etc.
