My old arab mare (32-33 y.o.) has recently really increased her urine output. She doesn't have any other signs of Cushings (no funky hair coat, etc). What are some other things that might cause excessive urine output? Urine is clear when it comes out - so no funky color, etc. Just LOTS and LOTS of it. Of course water consumption is up also. In the past she was the type that had problems with hydration. It was hard to keep her hydrated enough. But now it seems to have gone to the opposite extreme.
Any ideas would be appreciated. Guess it is worse for her to be dehydrated, but I am worried about this sudden change, not to mention the lake of urine she has in her corral.
