Posted by 3 Bay Ranch I have another horse that is IR and starting Cushings (only 12 years old - but tests borderline positive). That horse has not had the excessive drinking or urination.

My 24 year old Arab was diagnosed with Cushings last year. His only sign was the excessive urination. He is not IR (at this time anyways) and still doesn't have the long coat. He is on 2 mg of Pergolide and all excessive uringation/drinking are gone (thank goodness it was a MESS!!)
