the increase in insulin in the circulation increases the thirst, which of course increases the urination.
you must allow her free access to water, so she can regulate her need...
and treating by dietary means may help... but does not always eliminate it.
I heard a bit about 'psychogenic drinking' but have to say there is VERY little if ANY evidence to base the fact that it exists. Horses are much more likely to drink for physical reasons... and psychogenic drinking would be akin to saying your horse has anorexia nervosa... ummmm, I doubt that exists....
