Good point, Clair!
My IR guy definitely fluctuates with the seasons. His IR has been very easy to deal with (mostly just monitoring feed in general & making sure he gets enough exercise - no hay soaking or anything extreme), but I do notice the changes.
I typically have to change his feed in the spring and fall (can't leave him on the same grass vs alfalfa ratio all year). I also usually adjust how much other supplements I give him during the year.
