January and again in June with 2 30 yo seniors, renal failure is my first guess. The vet can run a blood panel for that. Don't wait, if you catch it early enough it can be cured. Otherwise, not a good prognosis. You also don't indicate her feed intake. Is she off her feed and/or dropping weight?
No, I am not smarter than a 5th grader, but occasionally I am smarter than a 1st grader.
