Tauna that is an ideal thought, correct that a relaxed horse is more comfortable than the same horse when it is tense and nervous,but conformation plays the most part, as you well know. I had to ride a polo pony for three years, which had a crocked front foot and a really long back and it was like sitting on the washing machine during the agitation wash cycle. If I did not go to the bathroom before riding her it was the most horrible experience ever. And she was perfectly relaxed and a very happy horse just bad conformation.
