As a trimmer, I always welcome a 2nd opinion from another qualified hoof care professional (whether farrier or barefoot, I don't care). I'm just one person with one set of eyes and my own experiences. I may not see what a fresh pair of eyes on the horse might see; and I'm always open to learning more. A true professional doesn't let their ego get in the way of what's best for the horse, they will have this attitude.
