facial swelling

when I went to feed this morning, our TB has swelling on half of his face. It doesn't look like a kick, as I can't find any marks. What else could cause this? A bee sting? It's only half his face, so I thought prolly not an allergy. He won't let me look in his mouth (yet).
He's acting normal. And eating fine.
But he looks awful. I'm not quite ready to call the Vet yet. Any ideas? Suggestions?
