I know I'm coming in late, but I wanted to remind people that tires get "old" and even if there is plenty of tread, if the tires are more than 5 years old you should replace them. Do NOT assume the tires are the same age as your trailer either, they could be older. Tire stores have been caught selling "new tires" that, while unused, are old enough that they need replacing due to age! See:

If your tires still have good tread, a used tire store will likely pay you for them even if they are "old", and they will be "good enough" for someone else's use, e.g. for a gardening trailer where if the tire blows the only thing that gets damaged is a lawn mower, not your horse.
