How much did it cost to have a custom saddle made? Its something I have balked at because I always figured it would be thousands of dollars.
I am thinking of starting with a saddle fitter and going from there. My trainer also mentioned that she knows a few arabs that just cannot be ridden with an english saddle because of the lack of contact. A western tree she told me spreads the weight more evenly and across larger panels. I am up in the air about that one.
I am in Alanta right now and shes gotten the past 8 days off and she will get the next 6 days off, so two weeks off total.
I am hoping this layup will help her out. Shes still getting lunged 4x a week.
