Selenium question-too much?

So I have noticed a little change in my horses skin/coat/hooves. Thought it was "spring scuzz", due to where she lays in her paddock, lots of turnout lately in sand... etc.

Until I read this http://horsecity.com/articles/care-health/15712-selenium-overload-horses-hooves-and-hair

I feed Renew Gold + Platiunum Performance CJ.
Renew Gold reads - selenium min.=.44ppm, max.=9ppm
Platinum - selenium min. 8mg

so according to the article I am feeding way too much yes?

Hate & bad at math so their conversion gave me a headache. Hoping the all knowledgeable board here can help
