the hauling costs has several factors, including whether you have to have another shipper meet the horse at the border. The north/south hauls are a little harder to do than cross-country. Another complication is that the normal route south from Calgary crosses the border in MT, and misses the Bay Area by sometimes 100 miles. However, Hubbard has a layover location in Bellingham, which can be used with some shippers. If you would like some Canadian hauling contacts I can send you at least one. Unless you can get a US hauler going there with a load already, you will have to either hire someone there or coordinate with a private person making a trip. US commercial shippers can't go to Calgary expressly for your horse. How much it will cost depends on how lucky you get coordinating the shipping.
