There is no way to tell how many bales are in a ton unless you weigh a bale.
A ton is 2,000 pounds. Some two wire bales weigh 6o pounds each (which equals just over 33 bales to the ton) and some 3 wire bales weigh 130 pounds each (which equals just over 15 bales to the ton).
