I board my horse at a stable. I pay extra to have him turned out every day. I discovered over the weekend that during the day, other boarders have been asked to turn out my horse.
I'm conflicted over how to react to this. I do NOT want other people - people I don't know - handling my horse. My horse is a very good boy, buy he's a *horse*, not a my-little-pony for everyone else to play with. OTOH, do I just trust that the barn manager knows what s/he's doing and chooses those other people carefully? But, the person I found out has handled my horse, I'm not impressed with. My horse has been through enough being handled by inexpert people with me while I learned, and he doesn't need to go through that again.
How would you approach the barn manager? I'm paying her/him to turn out my horse, not somebody else.
