Whoa! That is extremely unprofessional & a HUGE liability for ALL involved. If the boarding facility owner does not have adequate staff to provide such a service then she shouldn't offer it. Many barns do not even allow your friend to turn your horse out without your presence EVEN if you said it is ok for liability reasons. If I am not mistaken Pine Creek is now Leap of Faith due to a lawsuit (not related to this subject/previous owners lost their business as a result)... I hear about equine lawsuits CONSTANTLY.
If you have a trusted barn buddy you can get to do turnout & only this person I would take the matter out of her hands if she cannot provide staff to handle it.
