Hello all - looking for information first hand on cataracts in horses. My horse was diagnosed with bilateral cataracts. Very small, but one is bigger than the other. No previous injury or infection that I know of, could be hereditary.
The vet recommened fly masks all the time, which I do in the summer/fall months anyway. Also a fly mask made for riding. Meds if the eyes get inflammed or watery. Just curious if anyone had/has a horse and how it affected riding. TIA
