Nope - I've used them all winter. They work just fine. I do like to apply an adhesive, such as Vettec Adhere or Sole Guard to the walls just before casting, especially in wet conditions. My casts generally last at least 3 weeks as long as there is something added to the bottom to keep them from wearing through at the ground surface. You can make a "shoe" out of Vettec Superfast, or glue an aluminum or plastic shoe to the casts.
