Actually, I just sent a pic and email to Ariat last week...showing them that I have been a loyal customer - had 9 pairs of boots in it... the older ones fit and held up great.
But I have 2 pair of newer ones that are too tight...and one pair of fairly new ones which totally broke down at the inside heel and I can't wear them. I am very unhappy and asked them if they would be willing to cover the cost for 2 pairs...
I have not heard back... bummer...
it really does seem like they are making them different than before - more narrow and less sturdy/quality.
Shuckls - I have an older pair that were totally soaked when the roof of the tack room blew off...have been covered in wet cow crap and in creeks - and still fit well....
but the newer ones which have been babied - feel awful...
I dunno... I did try Justin bent rail on - they felt very nice and very roomy and are aroudn 150 bux.... I am actually thinking abotu jumping ship
