people Arabs are suppossed to carry their tails in an arch, has nothing to do with 'idiot meter' except for those who make such comments!
a 'flagged' tail carried high in the air or over the back means one thing in an Arab and something else in other horses!!!
all that said the important thing is when any horse is carrying themselves (or their tail) in a manner not usual for them it needs to be checked out to be sure there isn't something wrong especially neurologically.
FYI I've owned and trained all kinds of horses over 50 years . . . 'abnormal' means just that something isn't normal for that horse so follow through to find out what.
