My vet prescribed me Previcox for my old man to make his retirement a little more comfortable and I was wondering if anyone had any pros/cons to warn me about. I also forgot to ask (stupid me) if I should take him off his joint supplement or keep him on it even though he's getting previcox. I'll call on Monday, but figured I can ask here in the meantime. Any tricks to making absolutely sure he eats it? I'm thinking of smushing it into a cookie like I do with the dog, rather than on his grain cuz sometimes he doesn't lick his bucket clean and it's such a small pill (or 1/4 of a pill).
