my old fellow was on Previcox for an extended period with no ill effects, he clearly felt better when on it and I was so happy to have found a product that helped him so much. I crushed it with the back of a spoon and added that to a small amt of molassass, then put that on top of his grain so he ate it first, it is a tiny amt!
I don't see why there would be a problem with continuing his joint supplements, but asking the vet is a good idea.
my vet prescribed a loading dose of 1/2 pill for 5 days as it does take some time to be effective.
