So sad. I wonder if the owners just don't know how to vaccinate their horses themselves or can't afford a vet to come out and do it, or if they just have the mind set that it won't happen to them?
Such an inexpensive vaccination vs. what it costs to treat an infected horse. Or the worst case scenario . . . death.
