I'm taking dressage at my barn because that's the only trainer onsite, and I don't have a trailer. I am having fun but much to her chagrin (we joke about it) I will be staying in my western saddle and if/when I do any schooling shows, I'll be cowgirling it up whether they like it or not.
I do wear a helmet though and will continue to do so, English, Wester, Martian, whatever!
