He's primarily ridden by kids. I do have one prodigy who spends about half her time on trail drilling whatever horse she's riding; rocking them back then pushing off at a trot, or side step rear, side step front alternating, etc... But for the rest of them the best I can do is see to it that they spend ten minutes of arena time working the horses over trot poles and a little turn on the haunches turn on the forehand. Anything else is beyond most of them so you are right, he could use to be worked "in frame". But this particular muscle loss was dramatic and distinct, with no relation to any kind of change in work.
