Crates is a heck of a good saddle. Most Tuckers are geared more for A frame, high withered horse. Circle Y's work great IF you get the Arab tree. Don't let full bars fool you. I've seen tons of Quarter horses that people insisted needed 'full QH' tree and couldn't get fitted and a little old Arab saddle worked great.
Non 'weedy' Arabs have a heck of a rounder, fuller back than just about anything and SHORT too. All my saddles are round skirted and not more than 24".
Having said that . . . must ride saddle to be sure it works on your horse. Can't tell by looking unless you've got enough experience to do it in your sleep!
