I dropped the Previcox

My 34 year old Arab has advanced ringbone in both front pasterns and PPID (Cushings). The Previcox worked for a while, then failed to control the pain. I use a daily red light treatment and he is fine. Takes me 15 minutes/day. No drugs for pain. Compounded pergolide works for us, but compounded is often not quite the same dosage pf pergolide as Prascend. IOW, 1 mg of compounded pergolide mesylite is not the same strength as 1 mg pergolide in Prascend. You may need to go to a slightly higher dosage if switching from Prascend to compounded, but the savings are enormous if you can buy in small batches and keep it refrigerated.
