I understand that you do not agree with the use of rice bran, you've made that pretty clear. However my hard keeper senior TB gelding does wonderfully on it in the winter, he's up to date on his teeth and other needs, and my vet (Loomis Basin) has no problem with his diet. If my vet had an issue with what he's being fed, she'd definitely say something.
So with that said, each horse has its own unique need and yes, no one size fits all. We all do what we think is best for our horses and sometimes what person thinks is best is not what another would necessarily agree with.
