SONOMA / NAPA FIRE INFORMATION:
Fires have started in Sonoma and Napa Counties tonight. Some of the fires are in areas where there are horses. Folks might need help / temporary facilities.
From the County of Sonoma: "You may bring large animals to the Sonoma County Fairgrounds at 1350 Bennett Valley Road. You can shelter at the Vets building." "Santa Rosa evacuees should go to the Santa Rosa Vets Memorial building 1351 Maple Ave, Santa Rosa. The Finley Center is at capacity."

The Napa Valley Expo has been activated as an emergency evacuation center and can accept large and small livestock animals. Horses go to Valley Brook equestrian center at 1255 El Centro in Napa.
Crosswalk and Calistoga are official EOC evacuation centers. NV Expo is to be Cal Fire Incident command."

- from Brandi Damman: "Update from Solano County. [O]fficer Bokum [reports] that there is someone at the gate of the Vallejo fairgrounds that is welcoming horses. She said everyone is welcome no need to call ahead of time, be proactive! She also said please bring your own water bucket and grab extra to share with others if possible."
