Well since I have never seen your horse - it is hard to say. Does her coat or hooves look like she is getting everything she needs? If you don't need weight gain and just want to make sure she is getting a well balanced diet - then maybe just give her LMF Super Supplement for the alfalfa diet (it helps up the phosphorus, but provides vitamins and minerals, etc). It is just fed at about a pound per day to supplement an all hay diet. You could also just give her a pound of Empower which is rice bran and flax, but I tend to use that more for weight gain type horses. OR just stick with plain hay - many horses have that as their primary diet. Yep it kind of sucks that it is an all alfalfa diet - but if you try to get lower quality alfalfa (not the rich stuff for dairy's) - then it would be safer for a horse.
