Most boarding facilities are not going to let you add a companion with your horse without paying additional board. If you own your own property, then there are other options. I personally would not have a dog out in a pasture with a horse - way too dangerous for both dog and horse. It's one thing if they've all grown up together, but I would never suggest something like that at a boarding facility. Also, what happens to the goat/donkey/dog when you move to a new facility?
