Basically, when we're on daylight savings time (basically late spring to early winter), it gets dark around 7:00 on, obviously depending on the time of the year. The time I hate is winter, because from late November to February, it gets dark at around 6:30, so after about 6:45, yes, you'd be searching with a flashlight.
